           Security
  A support session can only be started from a Windows Mobile® device, which makes it impossible for someone to access the device from the background.

The website is accessible through SSL, which secures any communication between support specialist and server. There is a WebService connection from the mobile device to the server on the one hand, which is also supported by SSL. On the other hand, a TCP/IP connection is used, which may be encrypted upon request of the support specialist. This encryption occurs through XTEA and a key, which is only valid for one session and will automatically be destroyed right after use. Thus, a secure option is offered here as well.

Companies disposing of their 'own' mobile network, may install MobileHelp on an interal server. This procedure ensures that any existing data is in your possession.

In our database, we store your customer data and keep statistics. Furthermore, any data exchanged between device and support specialist is saved on the MobileHelp server during the session, and will only be deleted after ending the support session. Your data are subject to the Swiss law on data protection and will therefore be handled with care, as far as in our power (hacker attacks on your company network are beyond our control!
